Typos Are Not The End Of The World
This may be heresy to some, but a few typos here and there are not the end of the world. I know most people use a spell-checker and their intention is to have blog posts, emails, and documents that are free of misspellings and grammatical errors.
I believe intention counts. And, if the typo doesn't change the meaning of the message, I say get a life! The goal is to strive for typo- free communications but sometimes typos happen. It does not mean the owner of the error is a slovenly fool.
The good news, it seems that we don't really need accurate spelling. I originally found this passage in Engaging the Hearts and Minds of All Your Employees. It was also posted on The Daily Writing Tips Blog

The Daily Writing Tips Blog says only 55 out of 100 people can read it. I think that number is probably closer to 90%. How did you do?
