Verizon Poison Dart Commercial

Under the category of what were they thinking..

Verizon has a TV commercial playing right now where two friends are sitting at a table and one says to the other, "“So if there’s only one Verizon phone left, which one of us get it?” The other says, “I do.”

The first woman then takes out a bow and arrow /poison dart and hits the other woman in the neck.

And what is the takeaway Verizon wants us to have after watching this?  It creeped me out. It wasn't funny, inspiring , motivating or brand building. It was upsetting/vile/insipid and cruel.

Verizon, can you hear me now?
